Papers
Acknowledging that bi+ identities intersect with gender, race, ethnicity, Indigeneity, sexual orientation, spirituality, class, disability and age and can result in interdependent and overlapping experiences of oppression, we invite voices that have been historically and systemically ignored, marginalized, diminished, distorted, undermined, or silenced.
We welcome abstracts from RESEARCHERS at all stages in their career (both affiliated with universities and indipendent scholars) working on diverse fields, including the social sciences, history, education, cultural and media studies, health, and from ACTIVISTS, HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, LAW and POLICYMAKERS, THERAPISTS, PERFORMERS, and ARTISTS working on bisexual+ in their professional fields.
The conference will have sessions at various times to accommodate people in various timezones.
That means that whether you are in Europe, the Americas, Oceania, or elsewhere, we will work hard to find a time that works for you and your colleagues. If the time is not feasible for you, we are happy to accept pre-recorded presentations.
Abstracts for the following formats are invited:
Presentation: 10-minute talk, reading, or presentation
Interactive workshop (30 minutes - 1 hour)
Panel discussion of three or more presenters (typically one hour)
Other (for artistic contribution of any kind)
Abstracts will be peer-reviewed, and our goal is to facilitate sessions on a wide variety of bi+ themes.
To ensure we hear from a diverse range of voices on various topics, we typically accept one presentation per presenter.
